Tom is a member of the Punta Gorda Sailing Club, a licensed pilot, a certified open water diver, and a ski instructor. He graduated from Appalachian State University with a BSBA and owned multiple successful businesses. Whether he finds himself on the water sailing, on snow, or in the air, he is both comfortable and confident. His interest in all things boating started at an early age on the lakes of the Adirondacks, where he taught sailing. His interest culminated in his family purchasing an 18-foot ocean-going Solcat catamaran. He took up ocean racing off the Outer Banks of NC while advertising for his beach restaurant on the main sail and jib! Tom thoroughly enjoys all aspects of boating, and having closed on over 1000 contracts from Maine to Alaska in real estate, he is given to detail and prides himself in all parties being taken care of like family.
