Description
The Hunter 426/44 Deck Saloon is an innovative cruiser features a performance orientated hull drawn by noted designer and racer, Glenn Henderson, Hunters Chief Designer. Following on the heels of the tremendously successful Hunter 356, the 426 will share the same sailing attributes. Like the 356, the 426 carries the beam well aft, but the additional beam does not hinder performance or seakeeping ability, it actually enhances it. Wide windows and ports offer a real panorama and the creative layout allows for two full staterooms with two full heads and separate stall showers. Continuing to innovate and go more upscale, this Hunter will offer special amenities such as a flat-screen television and a Bose Audio system. Galley appliances are stainless steel and surrounded by genuine Corian countertops. Innerspring mattresses in both spacious staterooms.
One of the newer generation Glenn Henderson designs, the Hunter 426/44DS is arguably the best sailing boat Hunter has built. She is a big boat that is fast and can handle the toughest of sea conditions. The hull has performed so well it is used in the new Hunter 45 Deck Salon and the 45 Center Cockpit. This Deck Salon version offers a dramatically large interior space with the raised deck allowing tremendous light in the boat and 6'8" of headroom
The boat is very well equipped with Air Conditioning, In-Mast Furling, Shade/Hatch Package, ST 6001 Auto Pilot, Anchor Windlass and lots of extra options (See full specs for detailed listing). Broker comments:
This vessel is large and roomy with 6' 8" headroom. The athwartship master berth in the aft master stateroom is huge, with hanging lockers, cabinets, drawers, a mirrored lighted vanity, and private entrance to the aft head with a stall shower.
The forward stateroom has a large v-berth with filler, lots of storage and a head with stall shower.
The salon can also sleep a couple extra passengers with no problem.
This vessel appears to have everything you need to cruise comfortably. Take advantage of this owner's change in plans and make an appointment to see the ready to go cruiser.
